The best ideas are often the simplest...
Being original also helps.
This is one of those ideas that is so simple that you can't help but wonder how no one thought of it sooner. The truth is, you're either going to love this idea for the right reasons or hate it for the wrongs ones. I don't really care which one it is because I can guarantee you this: whether you love it or hate it, this idea is going to grow on you. The more you think about it and the more you digest it, the more you're going to love it. Just make sure you read all the way through so you can fully appreciate it. I want to show everyone that simple, original, and bold ideas can still go far, especially on the most far-reaching and interconnected communications medium we now take for granted. Basically, I want to create the Internet's most expensive piece of real estate . I want it to be so expensive that it makes it into the Guinness Book of World records, and shatters every known and accepted record, but not so expensive that no one will buy it. So I'm selling it for $1 more than the current unofficial record and millions more than the Guinness Record. Some people like to buy domains that are valuable. I like to buy a domain that has no value, and make it valuable....so valuable in fact that it becomes the most watched Ad in history! Most people think that only short, cute, one-word domains are valuable. I say a domain name is as valuable as you MAKE it. And considering that a domain name serves as the door to your online presence, the most unique, mysterious, and expensive door can also be the most inviting, attracting an insurmountable number of visitors.
So let me cut to the chase. The official record for Most Expensive Internet Domain Name remains unbroken and unchallenged since December 1, 1999 (a millennium in Internet years), yet was unofficially broken in January 2006, and now I want to officially shatter both records. Why? Because the sale of this record-breaking domain name has the potential for being one of the most highly publicized events in World History! Everyone loves to know the most expensive, the biggest, the longest, the highest, the most extravagant...in other words, the World Records. Better yet, everyone loves to witness a record being broken. This is why the Guinness Book of World Records is the world's best-selling copyrighted book of all time. This attempt is no small feat. It is for people who think BIG...REALLY BIG...and I love to think BIG, which is why I have already officially registered this record attempt with Guinness. Don't think for a second that I'm kidding here. I'm breaking this record. Period.
